ESyHealth are currently looking at their organisational status to prepare for the busy year that will be 2011. CQC registration is imminent (The Care Quality Commission is the new social care regulator for England), and additionally the implementation of several new contacts and redesign of old services will require considerable collaboration and man hours from its provider group.
The board of ESyHealth are currently advertising for an additional Director that would be able to help facilitate the development necessary between now and Spring to deliver services commissioned by ESyDoc and agreed upon at Surrey PCT.
Mirroring other successful GP clusters in England, the ESyHealth provider group has also allocated funds to employ a part-time administrator or ‘Group Coordinator’ to carry out several key organisational duties. These will include collecting and disseminating information within ESyHealth on behalf of its Directors, responsibility for the ESyHealth Newsletter, ensuring regular exchange of important information with ESyDoc, running of the ESyHealth/About Health Purchasing Programme (the discounted tariffs with existing suppliers which ESyDoc members are also entitled to use) and acting as an additional and very central point of contact for shareholder practices.
The creation of these two additional posts within ESyHealth should see the organisation working even more collaboratively with ESyDoc, the partner practices and Surrey PCT over the coming months.
