Nominations sought for Membership of the Management Board

The ESyDoc AGM has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 30 September 2009 in the PGMC at East Surrey Hospital starting at 7.00 p.m. Refreshments will be served before the meeting.

The business of the AGM is determined by the Management Board but has to include:

- the presentation and adoption of the accounts;

- the presentation and adoption of a financial plan for the coming financial period;

- the election of the Management Board;

- the appointment and replacement of the Designated Members;

- the calculation and confirmation of voting entitlement for the coming year;

- the appointment and replacement of Members and the adjustment of shares


At the AGM, the LLP will need to appoint the eight members of the Management Board for the next twelve months as follows:

6 GP members

1 patient representative member

1 practice manager member

The GP members do not necessarily need to be voting members of ESyDoc so please share this information with colleagues who may be interested in greater involvement.



Those wishing to put their name forward for election to the Board need to send an email to the Secretary, Julia Frampton, julia.frampton@nhs.net 21 days before the AGM i.e. by midnight on Tuesday 8 September 2009.

The email should set out:

- Full name of the nominated person

- Residential address of nominated person

- State for which position the nominated person is seeking election

- Name of the sponsoring voting member of the LLP

A copy of the email also needs to be signed and dated by the nominated person and the sponsoring voting LLP member and sent to the Secretary at the LLP Office c/o Greystone House Medical Practice, 99 Station Road, Redhill, RH1 1EB as soon as possible

Existing Board Members are asked to indicate their wish to stand for re-election in an email to the Secretary. No further information is required.

If a formal election is required, voting members of the LLP will be contacted again with details of the ballot.

On Tuesday 22 September, an agenda and enclosures will be widely circulated and loaded onto the website.
