Alzheimer’s Society is the leading charity in the UK supporting people with dementia and their carers.
Day Support
We currently run two day support services, one at The Byre in Bletchingly open five days a week and one in Bletchingly itself open two days per week.
Home Respite
Provides stimulating activities for people with dementia in their own homes as well as giving carers’ respite.

Both Anita and Valerie run monthly support groups for carers and there are also several social groups.
Valerie Page is available every Thursday morning in Boots the Chemist, Oxted High Street, between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm. No appointment necessary.

 SID offers a free, independent information service answering enquiries on anything to do with living with a disability for disabled people, carers, friends, relatives and professionals who live or work in Surrey. The confidential service is for all age groups and all disabilities.
SID’s disability equipment service enables people in Surrey who want to buy or sell disability equipment to be put in touch with one another. This is a free service and does not require access to the internet.
