Diabetes Care Planning Project recognised

"Care planning can be defined as a process which offers people active involvement in deciding, agreeing and owning how their diabetes will be managed. It aims to help people with diabetes achieve optimum health through a partnership approach with health professionals in order to learn about diabetes, manage it and related conditions better and to cope with it in their daily lives."

Increasing numbers of Paramedic Practitioners

Following the successful training of paramedic practitioners at Townhill Medical Centre in Caterham, discussions have been taking place between South East Coast Ambulance Service and ESyDoc to introduce paramedic practitioners as a "hyperurgent" service to urgently assess acutely ill patients at home in liaison with their GP surgery.
