Management
ESyDoc is a partnership of twenty GP practices in south east Surrey covering Caterham, Horley, Reigate, Redhill and Oxted.
Created in October 2007, the role of the partnership is to commission health services, both in primary and secondary care, for its diverse population of nearly 170,000.
An elected Board leads the work of the partnership and meets regularly. The agenda and papers of their meetings are available by visiting the Meetings page.
Patient Involvement
Practices within the ESyDoc consortium have always discussed healthcare services with their patients and recent legislation has strengthened their resolve to consult and involve patients on all matters relating to future planning and provision of services.
A Patient Representative is at the centre of all ESyDoc's business and other patients are involved on a regular basis in the development of extended services such as COPD and diabetes.
ESyDoc has a Patient Reference Group which is open to everyone. Members are sent information about proposed service changes and meet to discuss and influence key healthcare issues. As the initiatives set out in the recent White Paper 'Equity and Excellence' are implemented in East Surrey, this group will have an increasingly important role to play. If you would like to join please contact the secretary.
ESyDoc welcomes comments from patients, so please let us know how you think the current range of services can be improved and what new services you would like to see made available.
